JoyStory is created in response to a hurting world.  The personal and financial struggles of those around us have become more and more evident.  We realize we have a choice: to respond with despair or with JOY.

So why choose JOY?  Because it provides an opportunity during difficult times - an opportunity to discover the hope and peace found only in Jesus Christ.

It is written of His birth,
"...I bring you good news of great JOY that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord."   - Luke 2: 10-11

JoyStory allows us - ordinary people - to act in small ways as a part of something bigger.  We can't individually pay off others debts, buy fancy things for everyone or cover all of someone's medical bills.   But little acts of giving (a few hours serving in your neighborhood, a "Merry Christmas", a $25 gift card) can be used by God to spread JOY to our community.  Our small efforts may even provide a child with his only gift this Christmas.
